The Emotional PPE project began in MA and has rapidly gone nationwide. We are growing faster and more furiously than we thought possible, and we need to take on additional staff to support the project. We are so happy that our frontline heros are getting the support they deserve, but it unfortunately means our operational costs are also increasing.
Please help us support this growth and ability to support healthcare workers across the country!

COVID-19 has been especially hard on healthcare workers - constant workplace changes, worry about colleagues and loved ones, grief for the patients they can’t save and the families who can’t be visit in the hospitals. This is not business as usual, and it doesn’t feel right. Now more than ever it’s important that we take care of each other, and not just in physical health, but mental health as well. That’s why the Emotional PPE Project was created-- to address the need for emotional support of healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis by providing access to FREE free mental health services.
All workers in healthcare-related positions are currently eligible (for example: nurses, physicians, EMTs, technologists, senior living caregivers).
At www.EmotionalPPE.org, healthcare workers can access profiles and contact information of the 250+ volunteer licensed mental health practitioners in our directory. Access is anonymous, and they can make direct contact with any of the volunteer licensed professionals.
_________________________________________________________________________
The Emotional PPE Project is staffed by 100% volunteers. None of us are paid a dime for our time or service. Not the board of directors, the web designers, or the mental health practioners. We rely on donors like you to help us support our operating costs and continue to make volunteer mental health practioners available to healthcare workers in need.
Please consider giving any amount to The Emotional PPE Project.
Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding giving at [email redacted].
