The DeCelles need your help

Hi everyone,

I am here fundraising for Mike, Erica, Kylie, and Mikayla DeCelle. Mike is a 39 year old one man show tow company owner, father and husband. Erica is a mom of almost 3 (baby Cameron due Feb 2022), and wife. Kylie is a high school student and Mikayla is turning 12 this coming Sunday and in the 6th grade. The DeCelles are the type of people who go out of their way for others in need, they would give the shirt off their back to help others. Today they are on the other side of the fence, in need of your help. If you haven’t heard Covid-19 has hit their whole house this week. Mike and Mikayla have gotten it the worst while Erica and Kylie have a tolerable case.

Mike was taken by ambulance to Salem hospital in the middle of the night due to breathing complications. Once at Salem hospital they decided he needed to be transferred to Mass General ICU due to his oxygen levels being in the 70’s. Once at MGH they put Mike on a high pressure oxygen machine at 80 percent. After 2 days of no improvement or stability doctors made the tough decision to sedate and intubate Mike this morning. Doctors have also informed Erica there is a chance Mike may not make it out of this. Erica has not been able to be with Mike since he has been sent to MGH.

As if things weren’t bad enough, last night (Thanksgiving) Mikayla was brought into Salem Hospital with breathing issues. Yet again Salem decided she needed to be transferred to MGH pediatric ICU. Once she got to MGH they also put her on a high pressure oxygen machine. At this point in time Mikayla is stable and staying steady.

Erica has been with both of her children throughout this ordeal until now. She is staying at the hospital with Mikayla as long as she can. With Erica being pregnant she is enduring a lot of extra stress on herself with her husband and child in the ICU. Her anxiety is getting the best of her and terrified she is going to lose the love of her life to this. Her baby shower was planned for December 5th and has since been canceled.

During this time the tow company is not operating due to no extra staff. In turn of the company not operating that means no funds coming in, no funds coming in means more financial hardships.

If you can find it in your heart this holiday season, please help a family desperately in need. If you have nothing to give please just pray this family makes it out of this whole. Thank you for taking the time to read all the way through.

Haley Carty has also been an all star throughout this difficult time. Haley is Erica DeCelle sister, who has been caring for Kylie so Erica can be at the hospital with Mikayla and Mike.
