This page is on behalf of Kurt and Meghan Hall. Please read the story of The Danger Girl below from her mother Meghan.

Brooklyn Danger is not your typical 3 year old. She is the most dangerous girl in the world. She is the kind of girl that has no fear, jumps without second guessing, and runs full speed into dangerous situations. Her symptoms started with a simple runny nose. She started leaning her head to the left, her eyes started looking left, her equilibrium was off, and she became lethargic. After 3 days of symptoms, we took her to the pediatrician for what we thought was an ear infection and were sent to the ER that night. An MRI revealed that she had a baseball sized tumor in her frontal lobe which was pressing on her brain. After surgery and biopsy it was determined that she had a rare form of brain cancer; Ependymoma. This type of cancer occurs in 8-10% of childhood brain tumors, but they mostly occur in the back of the head above the neck. Brooklyn's tumor was found in her frontal lobe.

Her tumor is very unique and requires special radiation treatment. Brooklyn endured emergency brain surgery the following morning. She will need extensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy as her right side has become unresponsive and her speech and reasoning were affected. We will be traveling for her treatments and will be unable to work so we can care for her and her older brother who is 5. We ask you to give what you can to help us provide Brooklyn with comfort as she endures this battle against cancer.
