It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, husband, son, uncle, and friend; Russ Christmas. Yesterday Russ took his own life and left this world far too soon after a long time struggle with mental health. We are so sad that he felt like this was his only choice. This loss was sudden, tragic, and incredibly devastating to all who knew him.

Russ was one of the hardest workers we know. He played hard, worked hard, loved his family and was extremely generous with his time. He had a love for the outdoors that was infectious and provided many memories that his friends and family now hold dear.

The biggest loss comes to his wife Emily and their four children; Carter, Ellie, Greyson, and Fletcher. Everyone who knew him knew that his family was number one and always came first.

This GoFundMe page has been set up to help with not only funeral expenses but to also support Emily and she moves forward being the full-time provider to their four children. As friends and family, we will use the money to take care of them the way Russ would have wanted.

We love you so much Russ and we will miss you. I hope you can find peace now and we will always carry you in our hearts.
