Sareang Ye
Donation protected
Our beloved Sareang was detained by ICE officials and is currently being processed for deportation back to Cambodia. We've decided to start this to help with any legal fees to help us along in the fight to get him back home.
Sareang is a part of a refugee family who immigrated to the States in the early 80's to escape a genocidal Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. Without any education about what they were being brought into, he and his family have had to adapt to a whole new lifestyle. Sareang was exceptional, but has had struggles and made mistakes on his path, but found peace of mind when he met his wife Rita, who now cares for their son, Rayzon, and daughter, Jocelyn in his absence.
Sareang has not only rehabilitated himself, but others around him and has become a pillar of his family and community. He is loved and respected by everybody in his life; family, friends, and coworkers all hold high regards for him because of his own accountability to be a role model for everybody.
Please click this link below to read more about my brother's case. His wife, Rita, opens up about the struggles and the emotions involved with how she has to explain to their children why their father is being taken away in an interview with Sacramento News to let her voice be heard.

Your donations will go towards the event of any legal costs in the fight to get him home. Or, in the case that he is taken away, will help him in finding a new life in a country that has been foreign to him since childhood.
With warmest regards,
The family of Sareang Ye
