TEFL For Laura! Getting a TEFL Certificate in Peru

Hello, I'm Laura T and I will be working with Maximo Nivel to get my TEFL this summer in Cusco, Peru. I am 24 and currently working on my bachelor's degree in psychology. I have a disability that caused me to drop out of high school, but thanks to finding an excellent support system I have bounced back! In college, I have been able to maintain a GPA of 4.0 and am now a part of my school's honors program. Currently, I work over half time as a tutor and academic coach at a SUNY school, with a focus on working with ESL and/or students with disability. I hope to one day live abroad in Asia, working as a tutor and academic coach in English for students in higher education. Getting my TEFL certificate will prepare me well for my future goals, and so this GoFundMe is helping pay for these steps towards a future I am trying to manifest for myself. This $3500 goal includes all expenses for the trip, including plane tickets and housing. Thank you <3
