Victoria's Battle with Wilm's Tumor
Donation protected

This page was created on behalf of Stephanie Rosario mother of two children Elijah Rosario age 6 and Victoria Cabello age 2. When Victoria was only 11months old, she was diagnosed with a malignant stage 1 wilms tumor. Victoria had emergency surgery to have her left kidney removed, along with the tumor, lymph nodes and uterer. Stephanie lost her job while her daughter was in recovery and with her daughter receiving chemo therapy and treatments, she has not be able to take on a FT job necessary to raise a family. Please assist us in raising funds for this family as Victoria will need her mom by her side as she fights the battle of her life this early on in life. At 2 years old, after surgery and receiving a round of chemo, Victoria is having issues maintaining a strong immune system.
Not much is known about Wilms Tumor nationwide, and because of that the tumor was taken for research. Truth is, we all know someone who has been devastated by cancer, and as common as it is this day in age, that does not take away from the fact that families, most importantly children, need tremendous amounts of emotional and monetary support during these trying times. Lower immune system, weekly routine testings and probing, little to no sleep, constant fevers, loss of appetite among so many other issues... all affecting a child that can barely speak. This will take a toll on any family. So the more stress we can relieve the better. Trust when I say that ANY amount will help alleviate some of the financial stresses endured thus far. Thank you so much for reading. Any questions about the campaign, please feel free to contact me.
Please also check out the campaign updates for more up to date info on Victoria's progress and the family's needs.
