Tamara's Unexpected Passing: Family Needs Help

My name is Chris DeLauder and this effort is to raise funds to handle the memorial and financial affairs of my sister, Tamara Jo DeLauder, who passed away suddenly of a medical event at the age of forty-nine in the early morning hours of January 1st, 2025. Our mother, Tamara's two children and myself are still reeling from the shock but we are working our way through the complicated and expensive arrangements for my sister. Unfortunately she had no life insurance and the expenses of even the most conservative arrangements are beyond the means of our limited incomes.

The current plan is to bury her with her grandmother Betty who was her best friend until her passing in '94. A celebration of life for friends and family will be held separately at a later time that will be announced.

Tamara DeLauder was born May 13th. 1975 in Barberton, Ohio to parents William E. German and Verna G. DeLauder. She grew up in Doylestown, Ohio and was active in Girl Scouts, softball, and was recruited into the Chippewa High School Marching Band as a color guard the summer prior to entering sixth grade. She spent the next seven years as a color guard and then Majorette in the marching band, also playing clarinet in the concert band. She graduated from Chippewa in 1994 with marketing classes in the Wayne County Schools Career Center. She loved her children and kept involved in their youth soccer and band activities.

Tamara worked a number of retail and factory jobs and was a friendly face and lively conversationalist for the customers to interact with at the CVS she worked at until her passing. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, coworkers and customers alike.
