Update from the family Mon. 2/27:

We want to thank everyone with the utmost gratitude for the outpouring of love that we have been shown during this most difficult time. This has been a devastating loss for all of us. Knowing that we have people who love us and want to support us and Anthony has helped our hearts. We have been informed that we can expect Anthony to be home in a few weeks. We will update again as soon as we have an exact date.

We are still working on the repatriation process to get Anthony home. Once we have more information we will be able to move forward with planning services for Anthony.

On February 9th, 12-year-old Chloe Simmons received devastating news. Her father, Anthony Simmons, died from complications while hiking in Argentina. Anthony’s friends are graciously initiating a GoFundMe account to offset the cost of funeral expenses and to bring Anthony back from Argentina. Chloe’s friends and family have set up this GoFundMe account specifically for her. The funds will be kept in a savings account that will be used to help pay for things as Chole grows up. Please consider giving any amount. More than anything, prayers are needed now and moving forward.
