SWCP walk for Spinone Rescue
Having recently retired from the emergency services in the UK, I have the ideal opportunity to tick one item off my "to do" bucket list; walking the Cornwall section of the South West coastal path. The walk will be approximately 300 miles, completed over a month period and my companion will be Martha, my Italian Spinone (that's her in the picture hearing a biscuit wrapper from a thousand metres) . Although the walk will benefit my personal well being and allow adjustment back to civilian life, I wanted others to benefit from my endeavours too. As such I decided to raise money in aid of Spinone Overseas For Adoption and every donation will help this great cause. As it says on the tin this wonderful charity rehome Spinoni dogs predominantly from Italy to the UK; Spinoni are a hunting breed of dog and are used as such in Italy, so are often seen as being no more than a work tool, being discarded if not reaching the required level, or when too old. SOFA need funds to help with repatriation and fostering costs to ensure they can continue their good work - checkout their Web and Facebook page for more details.
My Martha was rescued too , and she also wants you to help rehome others of her wonderful friendly breed.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
