Susie Holliday and brother Billy

Donation protected
My good friend Sue Holliday and her younger brother Billy are facing a medical and financial crisis, and I know those who love her would want to know about it and how they could help.   Billy has been diagnosed with early onset dementia, which has been a shock and a sadness for Sue. He is only 58 years old and is in good health otherwise. He owns his house,  but it is in bad shape. He has not been paying the mortgage, has no income and no savings. Sue has been stretched financially as she has supported his household and herself for the past few months.  She is trying to get disability payments for Billy, but it will take at least 6 months to process after a successful application. It has also become clear that Billy cannot stay alone in the house any longer.

Sue is trusting God for too many things to mention here, and has seen Him provide in ways she could never imagine, but it is a challenging time for her. She has been able to secure a place for Billy in the same board and care facility that took such good care of her mother. This is such a gift from the Lord!  But it will cost $2500/month, beginning in about two weeks, money that neither Sue nor Billy have.  I'm hoping we can raise enough to cover Billy's living expenses for the next 6 months. This will give Sue enough time to fix up and sell the house and get Billy's disability payments started.

Whether you are able to particpate financially or not, I know Sue will appreciate knowing of your prayers, your care and your concern for her and Billy during this difficult time.
