My beautiful daughter was born on 7/15/23.

She was Born with a cleft lip & pallet. Although I know that it's not uncommon for babies to be born with this and the surgeries and procedures to correct and fix it have come along way and it's incredible. We knew long before she was born that she would arrive with a cleft lip/pallet so we have prepared ourselves.

However we were under the impression bc we had been told multiple times that we were covered and our insurance would foot the bill for all of her future surgeries. Now a few days ago we were told we no longer qualify for the 100% compensation bc if you make more than 60k per year for a household of 4 you no longer qualify for help.

This whole time we have been prepared and comforted by that fact and now we are beyond stressed and overwhelmed. I have no idea how many surgeries in total there will be nor do I know how much it will end up costing us now for all of it. The 10k asking donations is just me ball parking it.

I'm not the type of man to ask for handouts, never have been. My wife and I work hard to support one another and our family. This situation is out of our hands & I normally wouldn't ever ask for money from anyone but here I am asking. The road ahead is long and will for sure be expensive but I'll do whatever I have to for her.
