Instead of taking a break this spring, I have chosen to utilize my time in a meaningful way—volunteering to help others in need. I'm thrilled to share news of a remarkable opportunity that awaits me during my upcoming spring break—a medical mission trip to Peru.

The Mission:

This weeklong outreach trip will take me to Iquitos, Peru, and the nearby Amazon Region, where we will be providing crucial medical care and services to both local and indigenous communities. The journey begins with four days of service in the city of Iquitos, addressing the healthcare needs of the local population. Following this, our group will embark on a transformative journey along the Amazon River to extend our services to local tribes and villages in the region.

Why I Need Your Support:

Embarking on this mission comes with its own set of costs, including travel expenses, accommodation, and necessary medical supplies. As a student, I am dedicated to covering as much as I can on my own, but I am reaching out to you, my community, for support. I have spent most of the year holding fundraising events to help cover the costs of supplies, medical translators, and many other expenses. Your generosity will help me to cover my personal costs associated with the trip and impact the success of this mission and the number of people we can help by allowing me to participate.

Required Vaccinations & Prophylactic Medications: $350
