Supporting the Beal Family Through Tragedy
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of Monday, June 20th, Matthew and Tonia Beal suffered a devastating house fire. Matthew awoke first and alerted his family to escape but their son Chad was unable to get out and, sadly, did not survive the fire. Their daughter's Dara, age 20, and Ruby, age 8, were fortunately able to escape the house fire, but all four surviving family members were injured in the process. They were treated and released from Moose Lake Hospital the same morning. They escaped with just the clothes on their backs and one cell phone.
Chad had just finished 8th grade in Moose Lake. He and his family were looking ahead to starting 9th grade the fall. He had a beautiful and brilliant mind. On Father's Day, the day before he passed, he spent the day golfing, boating, swimming and fishing with his family. Chad caught the first fish! Chad will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Matthew works for Lake Country Power and Tonia works as a server at Doc's Bar & Grill in Sturgeon Lake, MN. Understandably, they will need to take time away from work as they grieve their only son and get back on their feet.
Matthew, Tonia, Dara, and Ruby will have to start life all over again. Not only are they grieving their only son, but they must replace all belongings including their personal belongings, vehicles, and their home.
The funds raised in this campaign will be used to cover lost wages and meet the immediate needs of the family. The fundraiser is being administrated by Jennifer Wege, Matthew's sister. Love love.
