Hi friends. My name is Tina McAllister and I’m starting this fundraiser to support our friend, Sam McIntyre. Here is Sam’s story:

Sam is an extremely hardworking, single dad of Samuel and Nicholas. On March 24th, Sam wasn’t feeling well and was taken to the Miramichi Hospital, only to find out he suffered from an Aortic Dissection. An Aortic Dissection is a very serious condition, often deadly. Sam was near death.

That same day, Sam was transferred to Saint John Regional Hospital.

He underwent a 9 hour emergency surgery to repair and reconstruct his aorta. He is currently recovering in the Saint John Regional Hospital. Sam has a long road to recovery ahead, unable to return to work for an estimated 3-4 months. Sam is a fighter, having had many, many setbacks and heartbreak in his life. His strong will, positivity and hard work to support his family keep him going.

Now he needs our help. We hope our community can come together to support Sam and his boys during this very difficult, uncertain time. All funds raised will go towards supporting Sam and his boys during his loss of income for the next several months.
