Help Support Donald Taylor — A Man of Faith, Strength, and Love

My name is Douglas Taylor also known as Dj Suppa Natty , and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my father, Donald Taylor — a man of deep faith, strength, and kindness. Anyone who knows my dad knows that he’s more than just a father — he’s a friend, a mentor, and a father figure to so many, especially to my friends and my siblings’ friends who have had the blessing of knowing him.

He has always been the type of man who would give his last to help someone else. No matter what he was going through, he’s always put others first.

For years, my dad has battled Type 2 diabetes, which has taken a toll on his body and eventually led to kidney failure. He’s been on dialysis three times a week for years, enduring more hospital stays than anyone should ever have to.

About two years ago, during one of his hospital stays, due to the shortage of staff and stretched thin nurses, he developed a bedsore on his foot. Despite every effort to heal it over the next year, the wound worsened and became infected and septic. Recently, things reached a heartbreaking point my dad had to have his leg amputated below the knee.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for him and for all of us. Despite everything, his faith and spirit remain strong. But now, he needs our help.

Our government provides very little support for seniors, and with the rising cost of living and medical needs, the expenses are overwhelming. My dad now requires a prosthetic leg, as well as hospital equipment and medical supplies to help him adjust to this new chapter of his life.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to help cover these costs and to make life a little easier for a man who has spent his entire life helping others.
