Support Tita's Fight Against Medulloblastoma

Aloha to our Friends, Family, and the rest of sweet Karli's village,

We are reaching out today with heavy and humbled hearts. Our #WarriorPrincess Karli, a four year-old daughter of James "Kimo" and Andrea "Puni," will be battling brain cancer and needs your help and support in this difficult journey.

Karli, whom we all know as "Tita", was urgently taken to the E.R. on February 14, 2025 after collapsing and not being able to stand up on her own. After a CT scan and an MRI showed she had a brain tumor, she was medivaced from the only hospital on Maui to a higher level of care and children's hospital on neighbor island O`ahu. There, less than three days later, the tumor was surgically removed and Karli has since stayed and needed care, separated from her two older brothers Ha`a and Kolu and the rest of her family on Maui. Pathology results confirmed the devastating diagnosis of Medulloblastoma.

Tita is facing an incredibly challenging journey ahead, with plans to start treatment even further away from home in California this month. We know the treatments, hospital stays, emotional hurdles, long-distance separation, and physical toll will be an enduring and overwhelming battle for Tita and her family, and this is why we are humbly asking for your help.

How You Can Help: we are raising funds to help cover expenses including airfare, transportation, and lodging for upcoming treatments in California and O`ahu and for any unpaid and extended leaves from work. Tita will need to stay in California for a minimum of six weeks. Every contribution will surely make a tremendous difference in allowing for the best possible care and treatment.
