On Tuesday, Sept 19th, 15-year-old Chris Vega was attacked on his way home from school in Red Hook. He required emergency surgery and was in critical condition. We are deeply thankful that he is now in stable condition and working on recovery and healing. Chris is still hospitalized and his family is juggling medical costs, childcare, transportation to and from the hospital, loss of work, psychological trauma, and legal fees. Please help rally around his loving family during this very challenging time. With the family’s permission, we have set up this campaign to show our love and support as a wide-reaching community.
