We are the Ugorji Family, and we are facing a challenge we never expected. Chesca was recently diagnosed with a fast growing, aggressive form of cancer, and our world has changed overnight. Many family and friends have expressed interest in wanting to help us during this very difficult time, and we are deeply grateful for the love and support we have already received.
Chesca’s treatment plan is extensive: six months of combined Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy, a Mastectomy, additional Immunotherapy, and radiation. Her care is at City of Hope Orange County, which is over an hour from our home. The journey ahead will be long, and the expenses are significant. Fundraising will help us cover medical treatments, medical testing, Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, surgery, and expenses related to managing side effects of Chemotherapy. Your support will allow us to focus on Chesca’s healing and keep our family strong during this year-long process.
Breast cancer is a diagnosis we did not see coming. We are grateful to God for access to top-tier care and for the heartfelt support we have already received. Many have asked how they can help our family through this process, and we want to provide a streamlined solution for anyone wanting to support us. Your generosity will be put to good use. This is a humbling situation, as we are used to giving, not receiving. As a family, we count it a blessing to receive any financial support you can give. Thank you for keeping Chesca in your thoughts and prayers.
