Hello wonderful friends, family and community,

My dear friend Linda Raney and her family had a devastating fire in their home last week. We're so happy that everyone is safe, but the emotional and financial toll of the fire has been overwhelming. They are in the process of finding a new home and will have to replace the majority of their belongings. Linda has been huge part of our elementary school's PTA and is the current president. She has helped plan many events for our school, all as a dedicated volunteer. She also is the troop leader of her twelve-year-old daughter's Girl Scout Troop and plans creative and meaningful projects for them. Her husband, Mike, works for a local police department and is also involved in their eight-year-old son's Cub Scout Troop, as well as serving as the treasurer on our middle school's PTSA. They both have given so much of their time and generosity to our community that I hope we can give back to them in this time of need. Please spread the word and let's see how we can support this wonderful family as they navigate this devastating event.
