Hi everyone - my name is Natalie Beck. My family and I are raising funds to support my grandparents, Val and Ted Marsden, who recently lost their home in the Bald Range wildfire.

This has been a truly devastating time. The Marsden's have been residents of Faulder for more than three decades now since their son, Gary, built their house on Fish Lake Road. When news of the fire reached the family on August 7th, Gary and his son Kurtis and daughter Kyra evacuated Val and Ted as fast as they could. Thanks to their fast response, everyone made it out alive, but Val and Ted have lost almost everything.

Funds will go towards immediate needs and allow our family the chance to remain safe and comfortable during this time, and, eventually, towards securing a new place to live for the foreseeable future. If you have messages of support, memories, or photos you would like to share, please send them along so that we can share them with Val and Ted. My grandparents are some of the most warm-hearted people in my life, and I know that their kindness has made an impact on many others in the community.

We are so grateful for all the support and well wishes that have come our way.
