Support the Al Raha Cats colony in Abu Dhabi
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Gianluca, and I’m proud to coordinate a dedicated group of passionate volunteers living in the Al Raha neighborhood of Abu Dhabi. Since 2020, we have been working tirelessly to support the welfare of our community’s stray cats, ensuring they have access to food, medical care, and a safe environment where they can live healthier and happier lives.
Our primary mission is TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Return) — a humane and effective method to control the stray cat population. To date, we have successfully TNR’d over 100 cats who now reside peacefully across the Al Raha area, including Al Bander, Al Muneera, and Al Zeina. Our work has significantly improved the well-being of these cats and reduced the number of unplanned litters in the community.
But our work doesn’t stop at TNR. Stray cats face daily challenges, from sudden injuries to illnesses that require urgent veterinary care. That’s why we are in constant need of financial support to cover the costs of both TNR and emergency treatments. Every donation, no matter the size, directly impacts the lives of these cats.
We are committed to full transparency. All donations are tracked and used solely for veterinary services, and we provide documented proof of every payment made to the clinic. Your generosity is not just appreciated — it’s put into action where it matters most.
If you'd like to learn more about our work, follow us on Instagram at @alraha_cats, where we share stories, updates, and photos of the cats and the incredible efforts of our volunteer team.
Join us in making a difference for Al Raha’s cats — every little bit helps.
