Hi, I’m Tara and apparently the universe (cat distribution system) decided that I needed another cat. One of my five dogs, Coco, and I were on our evening walk, I had my favorite comfy cat shirt on, and apparently, it’s national black cat day….

During my walk I noticed this precious baby laying in the middle of the road… I didn’t realize that she couldn’t even see until I got home and had my glasses on. Her eyes were matted shut. As soon as I realized it was a kitten, I said, 'Here, kitty kitty,' and she came crying towards me. I knew I could not leave her there no way! I’ve seen feral cats around here before. She is not feral.

Right now, she’s resting peacefully in my bathroom, isolated from all my other animals. My sister-in-law came over and helped me out with eye medicine, soft food, formula, and other things. She paid for it all without question. I plan to call the vet first thing tomorrow morning to see if I can get her in ASAP!

The problem is I already have four cats and five dogs; most are rescues. I need help! This is the first time I’ve ever reached out for resources for one of my rescues... I would love to have help with food, litter, litter box, toys, future medical costs, and whatever else.
