Support Stage One Rehearsal Studio COVID-19 Relief

Donation protected

First of all I want to thank all of our clients for the past 25 years of patronage and support.  The Stage One staff is proud to be here for the music community and hopes to continue to do so for years to come.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 we closed our doors to our patrons on March 18 of this year. We did this prior to the mandatory mandate to help control the spread of the disease though, as a business not categorized as essential, it became a legal mandate shortly thereafter.

Our landlord has agreed to work with us through this crisis, but cannot afford to waive our rent just as we cannot afford to pay it with a complete lack of income due to our closure. With the help of the GoFundMe #SmallBusinessRelief program we ask for your support by donating here. We have also applied for a loan through the government COVID-19 relief package and are actively seeking grants.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used to pay our immediate bills until we can reopen and put our employees back to work as soon as possible and purchase the additional equipment that we feel will be necessary to help protect our clients from COVID-19 while using our facilities. We also expect that it will take time for bookings to become consistent enough to sustain our business for a few months after the quarantine is lifted.

CLEANLINESS has always been a high priority in our studios. Our bathroom sink, soap dispenser, and paper towel dispenser have been touch-free for a few years now. We have also always disinfected our microphone buckets (grills) with disinfectant spray after every rehearsal and employees wipe down our bathroom on a regular basis. Once we are able to re-open to the public we intend to further protect our clients in our facilities by taking even more elaborate and extensive measures. With your financial support we will ADD an extra step of disinfectant spray and germ killing UV-C light exposure using portable UV-C sterilizing wands.

Extra steps of disinfectant will be used on all microphones after every rehearsal.

Extra steps of disinfectant will be used on door handles (front door, rehearsal room doors, and bathroom door) on a regular basis during business hours.

Extra steps of disinfectant will be used on bathroom surfaces on a regular basis during business hours.

As always, your input and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. If you have any ideas as to how we can help keep you safe while using the Stage One facilities we would love to hear them. Though we are currently closed I am regularly checking messages and am returning all calls.

Once again, I want to thank you for your continued support and for your consideration in helping Stage One survive this crisis. We are confident that we will be able to continue to support the music community while keeping our clients safe for years to come.

Sincerely,
Robert Elfaizy - Managing Director
