Support Ruslana's Battle Against Cancer

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

With hearts aching and spirits leaning on faith, we share a deeply sorrowful chapter in our lives. Earlier this year, our beloved Mama, Ruslana, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. At only 52 years old, this news struck like lightning in a clear sky — shocking, sudden, and devastating beyond words. It has shaken the very foundation of our world.

Mama has always been the heartbeat of our family, the steady, gentle force that held us all together. Her love is boundless, her strength unwavering, and her spirit full of grace. She is the light that has guided us through every storm.

A devoted wife, the cherished mother of 13 children, including a pair of twins who left this earth far too soon, and a treasured grandmother to eight beautiful grandchildren. Ruslana's life has been one of deep love and sacrifice. She has carried not only our burdens but those of friends, neighbors, and even strangers, interceding for them in prayer with fierce compassion. Her faith is her compass, and through it, she has touched countless lives.

Despite years of declining health, she never complained. She endured pain in silence, continuing to serve and care for her family with unmatched tenderness. We sought healing through every avenue: natural remedies, prayers, and the wisdom of those around us. Still, further testing revealed what we feared. The cancer had spread aggressively to other organs.

The doctors, with solemn faces, told us there is no cure. They gave us only months. But we serve a God who is not bound by earthly timelines. The final word belongs to Him alone. We believe in miracles. We believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ. And we believe our mother’s story is not yet finished.

This week, she begins chemotherapy, a journey we never imagined we’d take. As we walk this path, the emotional and physical toll is heavy, and so is the financial burden. The cost of cancer treatment is overwhelming. Our father, the sole provider, has become both nurse and husband, bearing this weight with quiet devotion. But the strain is real.

We are asking for help, no matter how small, if the Lord places it on your heart whether through a donation, sharing this message, or simply lifting Mama up in prayer, we are endlessly grateful. We will be deeply thankful for any support, if your heart is open to help us as we walk through this valley of death. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, brings light into this darkness.

From the depths of our hearts, "THANK YOU" for standing beside us in hope, in faith, and in love. May God be glorified even in this valley. Because even in the darkest night, hope still shines and we are never alone.

With love and gratitude,

The Zhuchenya Family

Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
