This past July, Rachel lost her beloved wife to breast cancer, leaving her to navigate life without her partner and best friend. As if this loss weren't enough, Rachel's daughter has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. She is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Dallas, a long distance from Rachel's home and support network.
