OUR VISION
We are a small team of passionate young filmmakers embarking on our first feature-length horror film, 'Beyond the Veil.' As newcomers to the industry, we’re determined to prove that powerful stories can come from indie voices with heart, creativity, and a whole lot of drive.
To show our commitment to the craft, we’re working voluntarily on this project. Every moment we put into this film comes from our love for storytelling and a deep respect for the art of filmmaking. But no matter how passionate we are, we can’t do it alone, and that’s where you come in.
ABOUT THE FILM:
Beyond the Veil is an independent psychological horror feature film that follows Cadell, a grieving paranormal investigator who uncovers a dark legend in a cursed rural town. As he and his co-host Glen film their final season of a paranormal documentary series, they begin to realise the horrors they’re chasing might not be folklore, but something real, ancient, and terrifying.
The film explores themes of death, grief, guilt, and the thin boundary between the living and the dead. It combines atmospheric horror, folklore, and emotionally charged storytelling to create a chilling but deeply human experience.
THE NOVEL BEHIND THE FILM
Beyond the Veil began as a novel written by Christopher Hindle, independently published and already receiving early praise as one of his most powerful and emotionally resonant works. Inspired by the mysteries of the afterlife, the story was born from a deep curiosity about what lies beyond death and how we choose to live with the time we’re given.
At its heart, the novel is a meditation on the beauty of life, the grace within death, and the power of memory to keep us tethered to both. It blends supernatural horror with a deeply human story, confronting loss and grief through eerie folklore and emotional storytelling.
It’s a book that reminds us that even in darkness, there can be meaning and that sometimes, the scariest things are what we carry inside. Now, we’re ready to bring this vision to the big screen, translating the novel’s emotional weight and haunting imagery into a cinematic experience that will stay with audiences long after the credits roll.
