On Saturday, September 5, 2026, our Valley East community was deeply impacted by a tragic accident that claimed the lives of two young men and left a woman with critical injuries.

The woman from the accident is a wife and mother whose life has changed in an instant. The road ahead will involve significant physical, emotional, and mental recovery. Her family has also been profoundly affected by this heartbreaking event. Since the accident, family and close friends have quietly come together to support them while respecting their privacy as they begin the difficult process of healing.

We have been touched by the overwhelming outpouring of compassion from not only friends and family, but also community members and strangers who have reached out asking how they can help. After considering the best way to provide that opportunity, we have decided to create a GoFundMe campaign. While we understand that an anonymous fundraiser may be uncommon, we kindly ask for your understanding as our primary goal is to protect the family's privacy during this incredibly challenging time.

Funds raised will help ease the financial burden created by this tragedy, covering household expenses and daily needs while ensuring the children continue to have the support they need as their mother focuses on her recovery. Most importantly, it will allow the family to concentrate on healing without the added stress of financial hardship.
