Support to attend the 'Asian Grand Prix'
Donation protected
Six of our talented young En Pointe School of Ballet dancers have made it to the finals of the very prestigious international ballet competition, 'The Asian Grand Prix' to be held in Bangkok in December this year.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime for them! They have been chosen from thousands of students who auditioned across 9 different countries as being in the top cohort of ballerinas selected to make it to the finals. The competition jury comprises of esteemed judges from the Royal NZ Ballet School, the Australian Ballet School, and principal artists from around the globe. By attending this competition, they will have the chance to receive training scholarships and offers to attend large international elite dance institutions, opening up many doors for them as they pursue their journies toward becoming professional ballerinas.
Although it is an honour to be chosen, the trip comes at a considerable expense for their families due to travel costs, professional costumes and ballet attire, the competition fees, accommodation, and extensive training needed in the lead-up to the finals. Without support, some of the dancers may not be able to take up the opportunity to attend. Please consider donating to help us support them and send them on their way to realising their dreams! X
