We are raising funds in memory of a young woman, Nicole Shacklock, gone far too soon. Nicole was a devoted significant other to John Arter, and a loving mother to two kids, Vada (13) and Thomas (5).

Nicole was fiercely loyal and had a great sense of humor. She was always the first to help others, so much so that she became an LPN. But most of all, Nicole loved being a mother, and few people did it better than her. It came naturally to her, and she made it look easy, even when it wasn't.

Her passing was sudden and unexpected, and her loved ones are reeling with the loss. She will be missed by everyone who had the chance to know her.

Funds raised will go toward immediate expenses for final arrangements and helping set John and the children up for the future.
