My medical journey started in July 2024. I went to the ER for heat stroke and discovered I had Covid, pneumonia, and blood clots in my legs and lungs. I had to have emergency surgery to remove the clots from my lungs. The doctors told me if I hadn't come in when I did, I would have died.

While in the hospital, they discovered a mass in my abdomen. After a lot of testing, they scheduled surgery to remove the mass. During surgery, they discovered it was ovarian cancer. They removed everything they could and did a complete hysterectomy. I have to start chemo soon to ensure the cancer is gone.

Now, my insurance has raised my premium almost $400 per month. I have not been able to work since July. My mom has helped tremendously. I hate having to ask for help. However, I need more help.
