Moms for Social Justice was founded by four women in Chattanooga following the Charlottesville rally in August 2017. Tired of angrily sharing facebook posts and yelling into a vacuum, they sought out a group where they could become active in their community, and were disappointed in the lack of options for families and moms in particular. MSJ began with six women sitting on a bridge with protest signs, and has grown into a flourishing activist organization advocating for equity for families in the Chattanooga area. So far all MSJ events have been privately funded by the founders, which becomes more difficult with the explosive growth we have experienced over the last year. Your donations help MSJ keep its events free and family friendly, and will help to reach an even broader group as we enter a really pivotal election season and continue to engage in our community. Thank you for your support!
