Hi Nordic Food Lovers!
100% of the funds raised will go directly to the Mikko Nordic Fine Food staff who are working hard to provide food for our community!
The workers at Mikko are struggling right now. We have reduced staff hours due to a lack of business. These workers have rent, bills, medical expenses, and families to provide for.
As you may know, the District of Columbia Mayors Office has cancelled all events, restaurant dinning services, and public gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This directly limits our catering services and the hours our Chefs/Staff would normally work. Cancellations for events started in February, and now looking ahead, most of our events have been cancelled through the summer.
It would mean the world to us and the Mikko staff if you could help even a little bit. WE LOVE OUR CUSTOMERS! Those who have been supporting us have been amazing, and we can't thank you enough. We are all in this together, and we hope to remain open.
As a reminder, we will continue to deliver food to those in need, in Virginia (on Wednesdays!); and in Maryland (on Thursdays!). We are providing groceries and stock items as well. If you are interested in ordering food, please visit: www.chefmikko.com
