Support Michelle's Dad During His Medical Crisis

Hi, I am Michelle. This past November, we had my grandfather's funeral up in Albany, New York. My dad flew up from Texas to attend the services of his father. We were able to spend a few days with my dad before he flew back to Texas.

Here is where things go crazy. My dad does not have any memory of the trip here.

For a long time, Dad has had what he called "episodes." He would get a weird feeling, then essentially black out for short periods of time. Last year, he had one episode so bad that his primary doctor recommended he see a neurologist. These episodes turned out to be seizures. He also is having a lot of memory issues.

He will never be able to work again. His work had to let him go because he is a liability. They got him a ticket to come to Massachusetts where my brother and I live. While we would love to have him stay in our places, it's just not possible.

I am in the process of finding him housing along with his medical stuff as well. But while I work on that, he has no income and no way to pay for housing. I found an Airbnb that will rent out rooms long term.

I am trying to book this room for 1 month. Any donation will go toward covering the cost of housing through March 1. I don't want him to live on the street and a shelter wouldn't be very good for his medical conditions.
