This is Rachel Mohnhaupt, the daughter of a wonderful woman who spent her life fiercely advocating for her neurodivergent son, Mitchel, and courageously standing up time and time again after tragedy tried to cripple her. Unfortunately, this past Valentine’s Day, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer and faced impossible odds. She has tried fighting for as much time and opportunities as she could, but unfortunately, this disease is known to be a swift and cruel mistress.

As her condition worsens, her daughter (myself) is spending every moment possible working toward honoring her wishes, making sure she is provided with the best care possible, preparing for the approaching inevitability, and maintaining stability and support for Mitchel as well as myself so we can face the turbulent waters before us. We have been overwhelmed by the onslaught of people offering support and so are providing an avenue for exactly that here.

As always, anything and everything is appreciated, but never expected.
