Hello, my name is Melissa Goldsmith. I am the mother of Marquise Johnson Goldsmith, who was shot Sunday night in the Capital Hill area I am a single parent that works to provide for my boys. I will have to take time off work to be by my son's side as well as help with his recovery. We have a long road ahead as he had to get some of his intestines removed as well as a piece of his colon.
