My name is Maisha and I am going through a rough patch right now in my life. I do work and have a sound healing business as a certified sound healer practitioner, but being a single mom of a senior in high school, this is getting hard for me. A few months ago, I took time off from work due to mental illness, suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD. Having to pay for medical bills for therapy appointments, I got behind in all of my regular household bills. But also now, I have to pay for things like senior pictures, cap and gown, yearbook, etc.

I saved enough money to go on a healing retreat (that helped my mental state), but now I'm going through depression again and cannot afford even my rent due to no more hours accumulated at work because I was off for 2 months. I typically wouldn't put my business out here like this, but I'm in desperate need of money to catch up. I have applied to several part-time jobs and no one has called me back, with the exception of one, but no call back. So I had to resort to this.

To add to that, I'm also trying to build my business up, so with that being said, I need funds towards my gas, instruments, materials needed, etc. I drive a lot and my car is not new. I do a lot of community work/events, volunteer my time & energy, but do not get paid. I'm on social media platforms to promote my business, but it has been really slow these days.

If you could find it in your heart to donate anything, I would truly appreciate it. Trust me, I never thought I'd be on this, but I just need a little help. I owe too many businesses, friends, and family. I also have been trying to get clients, but I know times are hard right now. Whatever you could contribute would be a huge help.
