Support MacKenzie's Liver Transplant Journey
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I'm Barbie and a friend of both Jennah and Ross Marsh.
Jennah and Ross had a beautiful little girl in June of 2024. She was diagnosed with a rare condition called Biliary Atresia. Little MacKenzie's bile ducts and gall bladder are malformed. This causes bile to back up into the liver, causing a form of cirrhosis. MacKenzie now needs a new liver. MacKenzie is living at Children's Hospital in Denver indefinitely until she receives a new liver. Both parents are being tested first and if one can donate they will. If neither can donate, then comes the arduous waiting game of hoping for a liver donation. This will be MacKenzies 3 major surgery since birth. She is on 22 hours of IV nutrition because she suffers some dangerous low blood sugar episodes because of the liver problem. Jennah and Ross are using family leave, sick and vacation time and have been since her birth. They are both still employed and trying to work schedules with hospital time. They are traveling between Beulah, Pueblo, Security and Castle Rock depending on work. We are asking for monetary donations for them to help with literally everything at this moment. We have no idea what the road ahead looks like once MacKenzie receives a liver however, not having a huge financial strain always helps. Donations go directly to them.
