Our Community Warehouse Has Been Devastated But Together We Can Rebuild
Blue Mountain Distributors WNC has been hit by devastation that changed everything overnight. As a small, local distributor, we are more than just a warehouse we are a lifeline that connects over 125 businesses across Western North Carolina and the Carolinas to the local farmers, dairies, and entrepreneurs who make our community thrive.
Our partners include hardworking farmers, two Amish dairies, and more than 100 small producers who depend on us to bring their fresh milk, yogurt, ice cream, cheeses, and other locally crafted goods to nearly 800 retailers across the region.
Right now, that lifeline is broken.
- Our warehouse has been destroyed.
- Our employees, though thankfully safe, have suffered tremendous losses with some family members still missing.
- Our dairy partners continue to milk their cows daily, but without us, they have no way to get their products into the stores that feed our community.
This crisis has left us at a standstill and hundreds of small businesses are now at risk of losing everything.
What We Urgently Need
To continue serving our producers and retailers, we are in desperate need of:
- Refrigerated trucks
- Storage trailers
- Electric pallets
- A bobcat
- Or the financial means to rent and replace what has been lost

Blue Mountain is determined to rise again, not just for ourselves, but for every farmer, producer, and family who depends on this network for survival. Every donation, big or small, is more than just a contribution it’s a seed of hope that will grow into food security, economic recovery, and restored livelihoods for countless people.
