Support Lizzi & Monty Fire Recovery
Donation protected
Many of you know and love my parents, Lizzi LoPresti and Monty Walters. On September 25 their home of over 20 years caught fire.
Firefighters responded and thought the blaze was extinguished with severe damage to the structure but hope for salvaging the home. However, the fire tragically reignited at 3 am that night, taking nearly everything.
The heart-breaking part is that my folks could have salvaged many more items after the first fire, but they were sent to their hotel with the assurance that they could start the work in the morning. Sadly, they woke up to the news that their home was gone.
Fortunately, no one was physically harmed, and their home insurance is providing them with temporary housing, . The purpose of this campaign is to swiftly support basic needs and sustain them through the temporary loss of work while they take stock, heal, and seek new office space.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated as are non-monetary means of support such as body work, shoulders to lean on, or being welcomed into your space. All is received with open hearts and enormous gratitude.
We'll also have a meal train sign up soon for those wishing to nourish the family that way.
