She’s always been the one who shows up for everyone else (and their furry family members)—whether it’s family, friends, or even strangers (and their pets). Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Lila wants to remind everyone to take their health seriously and to be proactive about their care and patient experience. To the women reading this: please don’t ignore or brush off symptoms that feel “off.” Listen to your body and advocate for yourself with your medical team. The symptoms of ovarian cancer can be subtle and easy to overlook—they may include abdominal swelling or bloating, fatigue, back pain, feeling full quickly, indigestion, and pelvic or abdominal discomfort.
