Support Laurie's Recovery After Serious Accident

My name is Kim Costa, I am a dear friend of Laurie Sheehan. Laurie was in a serious accident on Friday. Laurie's mail truck was parked and a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck her from behind. The postal truck was wrapped around a telephone pole. The fire department had to use the jaws of life to remove her. She has been in the critical care unit at South Shore Hospital since the accident (non-life threatening). It is going to take quite a bit of time for her to recover. I wanted to put this fundraiser together to help Laurie with her expenses while she is out of work. Laurie will not get a full pay check and will lose out on overtime. Laurie is the most giving person I know. She does not like to ask for help. This is why I decided to step in. I am working with her sister Kerri to help pay her bills while she is recovering. Laurie should focus on her recovery and not worry about the stress of a financial loss.
