Help Send Kristeen, Dan and Lexy to New York City!

If you know Kristeen Lopez, you know how much heart she pours into our little town of Creede, Colorado. Whether she’s volunteering behind the scenes, taking care of our kiddos at Rec, showing up to every community event, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed, Kristeen and her family gives so much to Creede.

Now, it’s our turn to give something back.

Kristeen, along with her husband Dan and child Lexy, were featured in the film Creede, USA - a beautiful documentary capturing the spirit and stories of our town. The film has been selected to play at the prestigious DOC NYC Festival, and the film’s producers are generously covering the family’s flights and hotel so they can attend the premiere in New York City this November.

We’d love to help make this trip even more special.

Our goal is to raise a little spending money so they can enjoy the full NYC experience: seeing a Broadway show (or two!), visiting the 9/11 Memorial, and sharing a few memorable dinners out with as a family. After all the time and energy she has poured into our community, we want her to have a few days to simply relax, celebrate, and have fun.
