Support Joanna's Battle Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Joanna is a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother to a toddler. She felt a lump on her left breast following a routine self-breast exam and what quickly followed were several tests confirming a diagnosis of invasive ductal breast cancer. Joanna is only 34.
She recently underwent lumpectomy and removal of several lymph nodes and is scheduled for several cycles of chemotherapy beginning in January followed by radiation. Her oncologist also explained that she will need to be on maintenance medication for a targeted cancer drug for a year and another drug to prevent recurrence of the cancer for several more years. In between all these treatments are blood works, scans and mammograms.
Being diagnosed with cancer at such a young age, Joanna was confronted with the fact that the same medications that will kill the cancer cells will affect the possibility of having more kids so part of her treatment is to ensure that she will have the opportunity to grow her family.
We, as a family, are appealing for assistance to bring hope and healing to Joanna as she battles cancer through your donation and constant prayers.
