Support Jason Ramirez's Fight Against ALS
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I'm fundraising for Jason Ramirez. As many of you know, he was diagnosed with ALS in April of 2023.
Jason is an amazing person with a big heart. He worked as campus security for a California high school for 15 years, along with being a football coach as well as Coach of the Year for Softball for the 2023-2024 school year.
ALS is a terminal disease with a 2-5 year life expectancy. This disease has no cure, and its progression can go from slow to fast within weeks. It's a nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. Medical equipment has been purchased, but that alone is an ongoing thing that will be needed and updated. House modifications are another expense aside from all the medical equipment needed. A mobility vehicle is also going to be needed to make it easier for him to get to his appointments and also enjoy time out of the house. Eventually, he’ll be needing his big boy wheelchair and a mobility vehicle is needed to make it easier for him to get around with his chair.
We understand money is tight, any amount is greatly appreciated. Please share this GoFundMe, hopefully, a cure is found for this horrible disease. #endals #hisfightismyfight
