Support Janaa's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
Janaa is 6 years old and has recently been diagnosed with Lukemia. They are currently over in Pensacola to get her the best treatment they can. When things like this happen it feels like life stops but the bills and cost of every day things do not stop. Before she got sick her mom was in accident that totaled her car. She is doing her best to get the things they both need & food that Janaa may get a craving for. It is very hard to eat while going through treatment, so to be able to get her food she wants is a big help. To do so her mom is needing to DoorDash or Instacart. That can add up so fast. I’m hoping we can come together to help them in this time of need and relive the stress. Janaa is in 1st grade at Lynn Haven Elementary & still trying to do her school work as she feels up to it. She misses her cheer team at Premier Athletics and can’t wait to get back to them. If you are able to donate or send gift cards it would be a tremendous help.

Here is a message from her mom:

My name is Krystal and I was given the most tragic news of my life on August 21st 2024. My sweet baby girl Janaa was diagnosed with High-Risk Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL aka APML). APL is a cancer of the white blood cells.
But little Janaa demonstrated courage and strength from the very beginning. Once she got over the feeling of not being able to control her situation she became the ray of sunshine she’s always been. She'd flash her gorgeous smile at anyone who entered the room, and they'd always leave with a smile of their own.
Janaa has received 21 days of active treatment through Chemotherapy, and still undergoing treatment with 7 days left before a repeat Bone Marrow Biopsy. A repeat Bone Marrow Biopsy will determine whether her bone marrow is in remission or not. After her repeat Biopsy she will continue to get chemotherapy treatment.
Janaa has taken all the ups and downs with such resilience that it shocked most of her nurses. She was stoic and tough, undergoing most of her treatment with a smile, a dance, and her unforgettable sassiness.
