Support Isabella's Journey Through Brain Surgery

I’m Isabella Navin‘s mom, Shelly Bourgeois. We found out about a month ago that she had a large tumor in her brain. This was obviously not something we could have planned for or had ever expected to happen, especially at such a young age as she is 22. Yet it still happened to her. She has been through so much with so much strength that as a mom I have to say I am incredibly proud of her. She has endured two brain surgeries thus far which have ressected around 80% of the tumor. However, that leaves a bit still remaining, which will be taken care of at Mass General Hospital in Boston as we need to go there for six weeks for proton radiation therapy. This therapy is incredibly expensive however it is the only choice for her specific type of tumor. We will need help raising money for Isabella to pay for the proton therapy that will eradicate the tumor.

As you can imagine, this has been a stress on the family, both financially and emotionally. I can only imagine as her mom what Isabella is going through. I do know, however, that she doesn’t ask me for much. She still has not been able to work because of this and is definitely in need of help when it comes to paying bills etc., anything whatsoever will be a great help and will be incredibly appreciated. Just the mere effort and the thought behind it are enough to show us that there are good people in the world that support and empathize with what she is going through right now.❤️
