Support Ireland in the U21 World Championship
Donation protected
It hasn’t been an easy road for the 2022 World Championship in Limerick or for our boys; initially slated for 2019 the tournament was threatened and delayed multiple times by the Covid-19 pandemic.
We’re incredibly pleased we’ve managed to keep the majority of our team together and ready to compete two years later, and proud of the resilience our team has shown through such a difficult period of time. Representing Ireland at a World Championship is a great honor and means the world to these young men.
Ireland Lacrosse is a 100% volunteer-led organization that currently receives no government funding, we work and compete for the love of the game and to spread this sport’s amazing culture through Ireland and the world.
U21 Worlds, like any World Championship, is a hugely prestigious and expensive tournament in which to compete and such tournaments in Lacrosse remain primarily player-funded. In order to keep our players’ financial obligations as low as possible Team Ireland gratefully accepts donations of any size.
