Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the loss of our beloved friend, Ilze Kačevska (also Ilze McMacken). She passed over to the spirit world in the early afternoon of April 19th, 2024. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, warmth, and love for life. The Black Hills were her playground, Rapid City was her home, and Latvia was her heart strength. We are reaching out to our community for support. As we mourn Ilze's passing, are establishing this GoFundMe page to assist with the unexpected financial burdens that accompany her passing, and also want to honor her memory meaningfully to support her favorite causes.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate some of the financial strain. Beyond financial support, we also ask for your thoughts, prayers, and love as we navigate this profound loss. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life, to be held at 2 pm on June 20th, 2024 at Open Heart United Methodist Church, 202 E. Indiana St, Rapid City, SD.
