Stand With Nepal: Help Families Affected by the Devastating Floods
On August 26, 2026, devastating floods struck communities across Nepal, leaving families in urgent need of food, clean water, medical care, shelter, and emotional support. More than 700 lives lost and more than 3000 people are still missing due to the Bhotekoshi flooding on August 26.
Health Foundation Nepal (HFN) is coordinating with local government authorities, and our plan is to work alongside local government teams directly in affected communities. Together, we will identify the most urgent needs, prioritize vulnerable families, and help ensure that relief reaches communities where it is needed most.
Our team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, counselors, and volunteers will support relief efforts through mental health and psychosocial support, and measures to help prevent disease outbreaks.
Why HFN?
We have stood with Nepal before, and we are standing with Nepal again.
From the 2015 Nepal earthquake to COVID-19 and other disasters and public health emergencies, HFN has supported communities through difficult times. Our experience, health professionals, community networks, and coordination with local government position us to translate your generosity into meaningful support on the ground.
100% of funds raised will support immediate disaster-relief activities. Every contribution will be used responsibly and transparently, with clear reporting on how funds are spent and the communities reached.
To our HFN members, supporters, partners, and friends who have stood behind this mission over the years: thank you. Your compassion makes this work possible.
“When the waters take away homes, they should not be allowed to take away hope. In times of disaster, humanity becomes our greatest shelter.”
Join us today in bringing hope, relief, and compassion to families affected by the floods. Together, we can help them recover, rebuild, and rise again.
Please support Health Foundation Nepal’s initiative on strengthening mental health services to the disaster affected communities and the frontline workers in Nepal.
